01 / Story

Craft, factory and place.

TOJIRO grew from Fujitora’s post-war metalworking into a knife specialist. Its factory combines pressing, heat treatment, grinding, sharpening and hand finishing in Tsubame-Sanjo.

    The company is established

    Fujitora begins the manufacturing story that becomes TOJIRO.

    DP earns long-life recognition

    The DP three-layer series receives Japan’s Good Design recognition.
