01 / Story

The twin mark outlived generations of products.

Peter Henckels registered the Twin symbol with the Solingen knifemakers’ guild in 1731. ZWILLING grew from cutlery into cookware, tools and appliances, with origin now varying strongly by collection.

  1. The Twin symbol is registered in Solingen.

  2. A Berlin sales branch begins international expansion.

  3. Solingen remains central to selected premium knife lines.
